Launched just one year ago, Queen Mary University of London's QConsult scheme was named the winner in the coveted Guardian University Award’s Employability Initiative Category. 

​The award marks Queen Mary's second win, following the recognition of their QProjects work experience scheme in 2014.

HEFCE has awarded three years funding to The Careers Group, University of London for a new Learning Gain pilot project, where HEFCE, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the Higher Education Academy research defines learning gain as improvement in knowledge, skills, work-readiness and personal development made by students during their time spent in higher education.

Careers Group collects AGCAS Award for Technology

Enhance Your Career and Employability Skills MOOC recognised for excellence and innovation.

The Careers Group announced today that it had collected the coveted 2015 AGCAS Award for Technology at the Awards for Excellence ceremony in Warwick. 

The AGCAS Award was given to The Careers Group for the release of its online course on career and employability skills, hosted on Coursera with the University of London. The award is given to careers and employability professionals for the innovative use of technology in delivering or managing services for students and graduates. It was chosen by a panel of experts in the careers and employability field.
