David Winter, Head of Research and Organisation Development at The Careers Group has been appointed as Learning Director on the AGCAS Board following election by the membership. David's worked with AGCAS regularly for over 15 years and has a track record of delivering high quality training both at The Careers Group and for AGCAS.
Talking about the strategic approach he'll bring to the role David said: 

"AGCAS already provides very high quality training but we need to do more. For me, professional learning isn’t just about developing skills and knowledge but about building our professional identity and expertise so that we have the confidence and credibility to influence the employability agenda within our institutions and beyond.” 

David commenced his term as Learning Director on 1 March 2017 and will serve on the AGCAS Board of Directors for the next three years. This continues The Careers Group's history of working closely with AGCAS with our Director Bob Gilworth currently serving on the board as Research Director and Elizabeth Wilkinson, Head of Royal Holloway Careers Service, serving as Treasurer.
