Why do managers and leaders find it so difficult to change the culture of their organisation? Coming up with a strategy and vision for change, restructuring departments and teams, installing new leaders, redesigning jobs, building competency models, coming up with new values, redesigning selection methods are all part of a change process and, in some ways, these are the easy bits! The difficult part is changing and embedding the behaviours or attitudes required to underpin the desired cultural change.
